Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has appointed Ali Jahangir Siddiqui as a special assistant.
A notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday confirmed the appointment but made no mention of a portfolio.
Ali Jahangir Siddiqui holds a BA in economics from Cornell University in New York and was honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2014.
